case study front cover

Image
This is the front cover page of Kerrang magazine which was released on October 1 2016. The main image is of Twenty One Pilots and are fairly up close and they have used makeup and costume to stand out more as they are male and is rebelling from the norm. The Masthead is behind the front cover because its a well recognised magazine so its obvious what the rest of letters will be also the font is in bold capitals with an exclamation mark to make it stand out. The page is played out with the main cover line being twenty one pilots and the other cover lines following underneath it. They have also used sky lines to intrigue the audience of what's extra is inside. The magazine has also stuck with 3 main colours this issue which is pink, black and white. The tone used through out the cover is consistent as it has a more excited tone to it to perhaps get the reader excited about the issue.
Kerrang magazine readers are 15 to 24 year old readers, 60% male and 40% female who express their individuality and are active in the media, gaming and fashion world. There is also many ways to access Kerrang for example magazines, radios and even an app.
